happy new year
Mike is not that fond of this pic b/c he says he’s making a funny face. Ok, that’s true but I reminded him that it’s more about the moment of us having a good time in the heart of what makes Sydney the spectacular city it is. Granted, the sunset was from a different day and there wasn’t really a miniature baby wallaby on deck with us, but it’s about enjoying a beautiful moment together, funny faces and all.
As for New Year’s resolutions, I always have the same one: to floss more. I think it’s interesting that some people think resolutions are a hoax and others really strive to make and keep them. I asked someone at work if he had any and he rattled off about 100. Wow. I guess it’s a good excuse to reflect on what positive changes you can make in youre life.
I’d like to surf more often. Now that I have some wheels I might even be able to get organized to go before work sometime when the waves are good and the wind hasn’t blown them out yet. Hmm, what else.. my resolution is to go to bed and get some sleep and think about what resolutions I should make. One resolution is for my downstairs neighbor to get her bathroom finished finally so dudes don’t keep rocking up every day banging around with tiles and fans and stinking out the building with paint fumes. Or mabe it’s the paint fumes that have kept me delirious and blogging for the past 45 minutes instead of crawling into bed…

I have been taking it off for every surf and keeping it in a safe place. I also got it valued the other day at a jeweler’s in North Sydney and he said I was keeping it very clean 🙂
